Cognitive science has several real world applications in many domains. Most of our cognition and decision-making happens through the visual modality. In today's world of screens, we use vision along with tactile actions for our cognition. However, not everyone is best endowed to generate successful cognition using vision. Since, visual cognition is not just seeing; it is decision-making. Companies spent millions to understand how humans use vision to generate successful cognition, which can be monetized for various ends. Measurements of eye movements is the gold standard to understand cognition- decision-making, as well as emotion and language during task situations. We have an established track record of studying visual processing using eye tracking for different kinds of tasks. Eye tracking data, quantified and visualized, reveal 'unconscious' nature of human cognition and decision-making in most situations. It is a powerful tool to gather research based scientific evidence that can be applied for different purposes from understanding the nature of learning disability to advertising works. Eye tracking data further can be integrated with portable brain imaging, further enhancing the power and utility of such data. We offer expertise in these domains to different organizations by carrying out focused research. We also train people that wish to use and learn these powerful techniques. In the current scenario of AI, eye tracking data modelled will be very potent to generate predictions about behaviour. You may look at the publication page to learn more about the use of eye tracking to study subtle aspects of human behaviour.
