Ramesh Mishra is a Professor of Cognitive Science at the Centre for Neural and Cognitive Sciences, School of Medical Sciences, University of Hyderabad.  His primary research interest is in the nature of mind from multiple perspectives within cognitive sciences. His writings have appeared in major journals of mind brain sciences that span areas such as bilingualism, attention, visual cognition and cultural constraints of the mind. Prof. Mishra is a fellow of the Psychonomic Society USA, and the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Cultural Cognitive Sciences.  He is also a founding member of The Society for the Cognitive Science of Culture and its one world representative. His last book titled “Attention and Cognition: Current Issues and Recent Approaches” was published by Routledge.
