Visual Cognition and Mind
As an experimental psycholinguist, I became interested in studying attention, particularly visual cognition from early days. The early influence of Raymond Klein on me, with whom I published many papers, was significant. My current research focuses on visual search and distractor suppression. I have also studied attention orienting in a laboratory set up using eye tracking. Time-to-time, I also consider more applied research that deals with usability in visual cognition.
